Kasoulides set to hold talks with Nuland in New York

Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulidis is scheduled to meet the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland on Wednesday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Following his meeting with Nuland, he will also hold talks with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf Nayef Al Hajraf.

Other commitments include the participation in two meetings, the first one a high-level briefing of the United Nations Peacekeeping Operations and the second one focusing on online sexual violence and child exploitation.

President Nicos Anastiades is also in New York the United Nations General Assembly, having flown directly from London after Queen Elizabeth’s II funeral.
