Paphos man sentenced to 13 years in jail for sexually abusing daughter

Paphos criminal court on Friday sentenced a man to 13 years in prison for sexual abuse offences.

According to a statement, the court imposed concurrent sentences of up to 13 years imprisonment on the man, who was found guilty of sexual abuse offences after a hearing, which was held behind closed doors.

The offences relate to the rape of his underage daughter at the time when she was 10 years old and other offences of sexual assault and physical violence in the year 2018 to May 2019.
