Police are looking for a 43-year-old wanted on suspicion of scamming a business owner out of €89,000 this summer in Famagusta, police said on Wednesday.

Authorities published the photo and personal information of Osas Osunbor from Nigeria as the second suspect wanted in connection with a case of theft by deception and impersonation.

Investigations began on September 22, when a 45-year-old man reported to police that two people deceived him and stole €89,000 by pretending they were going to buy his business for a large sum of money between July and August this year.

For the same case, police have previously arrested a 32-year-old man.

Anyone who has information that could help locate the wanted suspect should contact Famagusta police on 23 803040, the citizen’s line on 1460, or their nearest police station.
