Alphamega Hypermarkets has officially started counting down to the most wonderful time of the year.

Five Alphamega stores held simultaneous Christmas tree-lighting ceremonies on November 26, filled with colours, laughter and Christmas melodies, marking the beginning of the festive season at the grocery chain.

Mix Fm Radio held five simultaneous live links from the Alphamega stores of Engomi, Lakatamia, Larnaca Central, Kapsalos and Paphos Aphrodite, with radio producers and Santa Claus being on hand to welcome the public. The celebrations were filled with joy, excitement, music, treats, surprises and fireworks, offering children and adults alike a first taste of Christmas.

Games, Christmas mascots, face-painting and gifts were handed out to kids by Santa Claus, as the young stars of the festive period. There were also surprises for adults, such as delicious treats, as well as arts, crafts and activities.

Meanwhile, guests were able to actively support Hope For Children by making donations on the spot or purchasing the ‘If the children are saved, there is hope’ 2023 calendar.

The most impressive moment, however, arrived when guests at the Engomi store watched footage from the Lakatamia, Larnaca, Kapsalos and Paphos tree-lightning ceremonies on a giant, specially set-up screen.

The merry atmosphere was further heightened when visitors watched a preview of Alphamega’s 2022 festive TV spot, under the slogan “The Joy of Christmas”. The little star of the TV ad brought feelings of innocence and joy to all guests, reminding them that the festive atmosphere is always better when shared.

At Alphamega Hypermarkets we see the world through the eyes of children. Experience the magic of Christmas with us!
