Woman in Limassol arrested for drug possession

A 26-year-old woman in Limassol was arrested for possession of drugs after members of the Ykan drug squad found methamphetamine in her apartment.

According to a police statement released on Wednesday, officers carried out a search on the premises following a tip off. They found a around 88 grams of methamphetamine and a precision scale.

The woman was taken into custody and is now awaiting her remand.
