Paphos arrest for drugs and knife possession

Police in Paphos took into custody a 22-year-old man on Monday, for a case involving drugs and possession of knives.

According a police statement, around 6.30pm members of the crime prevention unit stopped a car driven by the 22-year-old in Chloraka. During a check it was found that he had two knives of a prohibited type and he was arrested.

The driver was then subjected to a drug test, the result of which was positive, and he was taken into custody.
