Paphos on Sunday held a charity ‘santa walk’ to send a message of goodwill, urging the public to think of the less fortunate at Christmas.

Mayor Phedonas Phedonos called on everyone to support their neighobours and those in need during the holiday period.

The event, which also included a programme for children, had not taken place the past two years due to pandemic restrictions.

The walk started at 10.30am from 28th of October Square in front of the town hall, where Santa hats were distributed.

The municipal band played music along the way and the walk was followed by a charity bazaar.
Stilt walkers, jugglers, balloonists and bouncy castles were also part of the event.
