Man arrested for child porn

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of uploading child porn on social media, police said on Monday.

The man was arrested following information from Europol about a specific account holder on an online social media site who uploaded files containing child sexual abuse material.

Examinations by the cybercrime police department showed that the 26-year-old was the user of the account in question. The suspect was arrested shortly before 4.30pm on Monday.

A mobile phone that was found in his possession was confiscated as evidence as well as three computers found during a search at his residence.
