Cyprus’ Kurdish community is set to organise a march to the French embassy today.
The march comes as a response to Friday’s shooting in Paris which left three dead and another three wounded after a gunman opened fire at a Kurdish cultural centre and nearby cafe. The 69-year-old suspect said that he was a racist who hated foreigners.

Set to begin at 1pm in front of the Ministry of the Interior, the protesters will march to the nearby French embassy to call for justice as well as the Kurdish people’s right to exist.
