Limassol police are looking for a 42-year-old man who stole €580 worth of tools from his friend’s warehouse.

The case was reported to the police on Friday, with the complainant saying he saw his friend carrying a box of tools from his warehouse at his field in Ayios Georgios in Germasoyia to his car.

When he asked for an explanation, the 42-year-old allegedly ran into his car and left.

The complainant said various tools amounting to €580 were stolen from his storage room.

Limassol CID officers visited the scene for on-site examinations and found the offender damaged the metal at the front of the warehouse using physical force to enter it. He then exited through the door.

An arrest warrant has been issued against him.
