Nouris heads to Vienna for talks with Austrian counterpart

Interior Minister, Nicos Nouris, was leaving on Thursday for Vienna for bilateral contacts and the opening of an exhibition at the embassy of Cyprus in Austria.

Nouris will have a meeting on Friday morning with his Austrian counterpart, Gerhard Karner where they will review issues of common interest ahead of the upcoming informal Council in Stockholm next week. The topics will be mainly immigration and Ukraine.

Nouris will be accompanied by the ambassador of Cyprus to Austria, Maria Michael, and the director of his office, Loizos Michael.

He will later in the day open the photographic exhibition ‘ELLE – The Woman in Antiquity’ organised by the Cyprus embassy in Austria in collaboration with the PIO, at the National Library of Austria.

Nouris departs from Vienna on Saturday at noon, the press release concludes.
