Woman arrested at Paphos airport for forged documents, impersonation

Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with a case of forgery and impersonation at Paphos airport.

According to Paphos police spokesperson Michalis Nikolaou, on Monday at 10pm, a woman presented a French travel document with the intention of traveling to Poland.

It emerged that the document presented was genuine. However, the photograph on the document did not match the woman’s look.

Under interrogation, the suspect admitted that she was not the person in the photograph. She was subsequently arrested and placed in custody.
