Police on Wednesday are investigating a case of car theft from Limassol’s Katholiki quarter.

According to police statement, the car had been left parked and running with the keys in the ignition.

The owner reported the theft of the vehicle, valued at €3,500, at 12:35 pm on Tuesday.

Police have once more urged drivers to remove keys from their parked vehicles, even in case of a few minutes stop, to close all the windows and ensure their vehicle is locked.
