Three people rescued from Larnaca apartment fire

Authorities rescued three people from an apartment where a fire broke out in Larnaca on Sunday afternoon.

Two fire engines responded to a call about a fire in an apartment on Vasileos Constantinou street in Larnaca around 5.30pm.

Fire service spokesman said three people were rescued while the third floor of the building was evacuated as a precaution.

The fire was under control before 6pm.

The fire service and the police will investigate the causes of the fire at a later stage.
