Three bikers festivals coming up

Lovers of the two-wheel adrenaline rush that is a motorbike have plenty to enjoy this May and June as three bikers festivals take place in different locations on the island. Events dedicated to motorcycles, bikes and the riding world fill up the spring weekends to come.

Coming up first is the Ledra 8^th Bike Festival organised by the Ledra Motorcycles Club of Nicosia. On Saturday and Sunday, the festival will be hosted at a new location this year, the Cyprus State Fair supported by its co-organisers Moto Expo, STS Events and Boyz Stuff Show. From 10am to 11pm on both days, visitors will have the chance to browse new bike models, accessories and more, while entering competitions and games. Adding a family-friendly note to the exhibition is a series of kids’ activities as well. Just like every year, the festival will include a large variety of street food options, DJ sets and live performances by the Windcraft Band, Nofreno, On Tour, Crush.N.Burn and Neon Knights.

On the following weekend, Nicosia will welcome the Cyprus Bikers Festival running from May 19 to 21 at Venue City. At the festival, motorcycle enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch special rider shows, visit the exhibition with the most famous brands of motorcycles and products and accessories and participate in games, activities and contests. Street food bites and a vast variety of beers and cocktails will of course be available too.

Then as June arrives, the Ride n Vibe Festival will return for its second edition, taking place at Potamos Germasogeia on June 3. A full-day experience will be presented, showing a glimpse inside the life of a biker and all there is to know about biker culture. A pop-up market with local artists will sell crafts and other items while on stage Magic de Spell, Mimis Kalatzis and Dimitris Mitsotakis will add the musical entertainment of the day. Doors open at 4pm with a €10 entrance where a part of the proceeds will be donated to the Funraising Blue Charity.
