EcoXCyprus hosts 19th meetup: Exploring the new financial paradigm

EcoXCyprus, which organises online and in-person meetups relevant to startups, technology, investments and the blockchain, announced this week that on Monday, June 26, it will be holding its 19th meetup at the Entire VC Hall in Limassol, Cyprus.

“The fintech scene is buzzing on our island,” EcoXCyprus said in a statement.

“The event will bring together experts from the fintech, blockchain and crypto industries to explore the unconventional world of decentralised technologies, NFTS, TradFi and DeFi. Other fintech events and communities will present their projects,” it added, while noting that startups will also be pitching their projects.

The event will begin with an introduction by the EcoXCyprus host Panis Pieri, followed by four expert speakers.

The first speaker, Marios Isaakidis founder at infotropic.tech, will present NFZ. NFZ is a toolkit for infusing NFT collections with transferable utilities, represented as on-chain tokens. Their model decouples utilities from NFT ownership and can enable novel applications built around utility delegation, reselling and subletting.

The second speaker, Dariia Vasylieva, founding partner at FD CAPITAL, will explain why the convergence of TradFi and DeFi is forging a powerful synergy revolutionising the financial landscape.

The third speaker, Andreas Livadiotis, CEO at XValley Tech, will tell us more about the upcoming Cyprus Fintech Summit 2023 and why you must attend one of Cyprus’s biggest tech conferences.
