Winds will initially be variable and light, gradually turning mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, and locally strong, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to 38C in the interior, 35C on the north coast, 30C on the remaining coasts and 29C in the higher mountains.

Overnight the weather will be mostly clear with some increased low clouds. In the early hours, thin fog is expected in some regions. Winds will be mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 20C in the interior, 21C on the coasts and 18C in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the weather will be mostly clear with locally increased cloud cover, with a chance of afternoon mountain showers on Wednesday.

Temperatures are not expected to change appreciably through Friday, remaining slightly above average for the season.
