Another one of September’s festivals will present its latest edition very soon, sharing the art of dance. Dance House Lemesos has been organising the Open House Festival since 2010, hosting choreographers and performance artists from Cyprus and abroad. Dance acts and contemporary performing arts will again take place from September 28 to October 1 in different locations in Limassol.

Now in its 14th year, the four-day event will feature performances and screenings from the local and international scene, podcasts and discussions.

The opening day will include welcome drinks at the Municipal Arts Centre – Papadakis Warehouses at 7pm, a few hours before the first performance takes place. At 10pm, Elena Agathokleous will present Lazaros at Ravens Music Hall, a performance suitable for those over 16-years-old.

Four performances/exhibitions will take place on September 29 at various locations from 6pm onwards. Some will take place at Apothikes Papadaki while others will happen at Synergeio Limassol. Five events will occur on September 30 including a podcast premiere by Lia Haraki, and performances by selected artists.

The final day’s programme will begin with an Afterthoughts session that will look at this year’s festival edition. An installation and a performance will follow before a closing party with tunes by Alysides brings organisers, artists and the public together for one last hoorah.
