17 arrested for staying in Cyprus illegally

A total of 17 people who were staying in Cyprus illegally were arrested on Sunday, police said.

The arrests were made in the Larnaca district. Police say procedures to repatriate all 17 people to their countries of origin are underway, while they continue to investigate the matter.
