Central streets to be closed off for Larnaca Christmas parade

Streets in the centre of Larnaca will be closed off to vehicle traffic on Saturday for the annual Christmas Parade, the municipality announced on Tuesday.

The city’s Christmas Parade will take place at 5.30pm on Saturday, December 9, and will pass through Ermou, Zenonos Kitieos, Zenonos Pieridis, Lord Byron and Gladstone streets, the announcement said.

The parade will be followed by artistic festivities in Ermou Square.

The event will affect Ermou street, Nikolaou Rossou, Zenonos Kitieos (from the junction with Achillea Theodoulou Square to its junction with Filiou Zannetou), Zenonos Pieridis, Lord Byron, Gladstone and side lanes leading to these streets from 2pm until 9pm.

The municipality informs the public that during these hours, parking on the specific streets will also be prohibited.
