Another renowned musician is travelling to Cyprus in 2024, enriching the island’s cultural and spiritual scene. World-famous musician Estas Tonne, well-known for his aethereal guitar pieces, will host a single “sound ceremony” in Cyprus this autumn as part of his tour.

Tonne’s International Tour 2024 will take him to Yerevan, Tbilisi, Athens, Istanbul, Limassol and Dubai, performing just once in each city. The musician will visit most of these countries for the first time and Cyprus’ date has been set for October 3. “Estas Tonne is a musician whose creativity cannot be fully attributed to any of the known musical genres,” say organisers, “as his music harmoniously combines a variety of styles. In his extended sound ceremonies, traces of classical guitar, flamenco and Gypsy music can be heard. Estas also uses electronics, but always delicately, so it is also impossible to classify it as electronic music. The presence of other musicians on stage with him, mastering different instruments and playing techniques, gathered from all over the world, allows us to speak of Estas as a phenomenon of world music, but it is not just world music.”

With hundreds of millions of views on YouTube, the musician has a large fanbase around the world with his events often having a unifying and transformational aspect. This October, fans and curious music lovers in Cyprus will get to listen to Tonne’s musical mission live for the first time.
