Police in Paphos have arrested a 33-year-old against whom two arrest warrants were pending in relation to recent car thefts.

The man, a permanent resident of Paphos, was arrested at 11.40pm on Friday.

On Saturday, the Paphos district court ordered he remain in custody.

The 33-year-old admitted to the crimes and indicated where the stolen cars were, which were returned to their owners.
