Two of the 103 board members of semi-governmental organisations are being replaced due to conflict of interest, the deputy government spokesman said after a cabinet meeting.
Yiannis Antoniou explained that the committee investigating conflicts of interest found professional conflicts for two board members, which have been included in the conclusions of ex officio investigations.
These members, he said, “will be replaced at the soonest possible” and over the coming days.
Antoniou assured the government remained “dedicated to implementing its policy on transparency, good administration and meritocracy” and would be adopting the conclusions of the committee.
