Friday will start off clear with increased clouds and isolated rains or thunderstorms expected later in the day, in the mountains and the interior. Temperatures will rise to 38C in the interior, 32C on the west coasts, 34C on the remaining coasts, and 29C in the higher mountains. Winds will be south- to north-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort and later turning to strong on the south coast, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be rough.
Overnight the weather will be clear with some increased low clouds. Temperatures will drop to 24C in the interior and the coasts, and 18C in the higher mountains. Winds will remain south- to north-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea in the west will remain rough but on the remaining coast it will turn calm.
Saturday, is expected to follow a similar pattern with a sunny start and mountain rains in the afternoon.
On Sunday and Monday the weather will remain mainly clear. Temperatures are expected to rise again next week after the respite of the past several days.
