British Cypriot member of the House of Lords Baroness Meral Hussein-Ece said a bicycle filled with dog excrement was left outside her cousin’s home on Sunday as far-right riots continue to plague the United Kingdom.

The bicycle, a rental bicycle belonging to rental company Lime, had dog excrement in its basket and the phrase “deport all Muslims” scrawled across its front.

Hussein-Ece, a member of centrist political party the Liberal Democrats, has been outspoken in her opposition to the riots since they began a week ago, and has also been vocal in her support for Palestinians as violence continues to rage in the Middle East.

The riots were sparked after it was falsely reported that a mass stabbing last Monday was committed by a Muslim migrant.

One of those accused, including by Hussein-Ece, of having incited the riots, Tommy Robinson, is currently on holiday in Cyprus, staying at a holiday village near Cape Greco.

Robinson, a former member of the fascist British National Party and the founder of the anti-Muslim English Defence league, is the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant in the UK after failing to attend court in relation to a previous case against him.
