Aiming to create a fairer, more equitable Cyprus business environment, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) and the WICZ+ Foundation was signed recently at the EIMF offices. The Memorandum aims to create a framework for cooperation in promoting and supporting human rights, with a focus on gender equality and ensuring a pluralistic environment in doing business.
The organisations’ primary objective is jointly to promote gender equality standards and encourage balanced participation. Through the MoU, the aim is to create a fair, equal and inclusive work culture, which is not only a moral obligation, but also a business necessity.

In particular, the MoU between EIMF and WICZ+ Foundation provides for:
- Cooperation in research projects
- Organisation of, and participation in, training programmes, workshops, seminars and conferences
- Exchange of information and expertise to support strategy and policy development
- Raising public awareness through joint campaigns, training programmes and promotional activities
The partnership between the EIMF and the WICZ+ Foundation is expected to deliver significant results and to contribute to the creation of a fairer, more equitable business environment in Cyprus. The two organisations are committed to working together to promote and support human rights, and to support diversity and inclusion in all aspects of business life.
