Police on Monday were on the hunt for a 21-year-old man who allegedly threatened to kill a 26-year-old in Limassol.
According to the latter, he received a call from the younger individual to meet and go for a drive.
The 21-year-old picked him up from his home with another stranger in the vehicle.
The two men allegedly began threatening the 26-year-old that they would kill him, and began discussing taking him to the Kourris dam.
Frightened, the 26-year-old jumped out of the car while it was stopped at the traffic lights between Nikou and Despinas Pattichi and Spyrou Kyprianou streets.
He said the 21-year-old grabbed him in an attempt to stop him from leaving but he managed to get away.
Police have since issued an arrest warrant for the younger man who is wanted.
