The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has announced that it has suspended trading of shares for Toxotis Investments Public Ltd on the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to an official announcement by the commission, the decision was made at a meeting held on October 30, 2024.
In its announcement, CySEC cited the company’s failure to meet key reporting requirements as the reason for the suspension.
Specifically, Toxotis Investments has not submitted its annual financial report for the year ending 31 December 31, 2023, or its semi-annual financial report for the period ending June 30, 2024.
The absence of these reports, the commission explained, “has left investors without essential information on the company’s current financial status”.
To protect investors, CySEC requested the suspension of Toxotis Investments’ share trading from November 1, 2024.
“This suspension will remain in effect until the company complies with its reporting obligations or, at the latest, until December 31, 2024,” the commission stated.
Investors are advised to monitor updates from CySEC regarding the company’s compliance efforts, as well as any other announcements pertaining to such issues.
