Energy Minister George Papanastasiou is expected to meet regional and international stakeholders on Monday in Abu Dhabi.
The minister, who is participating in international energy forum ADIPEC 2024, will meet counterparts from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt, as well as senior executives from Chevron, Shell, Eni and BP.
Papanastasiou will take part in a ministerial discussion on increasing collaboration between the global north and south for successful energy transition.
On the sidelines of ADIPEC, Papanastasiou will meet UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Deputy Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Sharif Al Olama and Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi.
On Tuesday he will meet TAQA (Abu Dhabi national energy company) officials and Chevron, Shell, Eni and BP senior executives.
