The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) on Tuesday released a public invitation to professional trainers who want to participate in EULEP’s Train-the-Trainers (TtT) sessions.

EULEP refers to the European Learning Experience Platform, which brings together 20 organisations from 8 countries under the leadership of Eurochambres, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

This initiative, implemeted in collaboration with the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), is co-funded by Erasmus+, the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. In total, the programme has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion.

Keve said that the goal of this project is to promote “lifelong learning and professional development across Europe”.

Moreover, the chamber said that the “TtT programme is open to trainers of all levels who wish to expand their expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual-Mixed Reality (VR), and Social Innovation (SI)”.

“While some familiarity with technology is recommended for the VR sessions, no prior experience is required for the AI and SI sessions,” Keve added.

According to the announcement, participants will gain free access to educational materials through the EULEP platform. They will also be able to attend live sessions led by industry experts.

These include Monica Odysseos, an AI expert with a focus on strategy and ethics; Minas Kyriakou, a specialist in VR and MR technologies with a focus on enhancing learning through technology; and Maria Evgeniou, a Social Innovation expert, with a focus on inclusive training methodologies.

Furthermore, participants will receive a certificate of completion and be admitted to a European network of trainers pioneering digital transformation and social innovation.

Keve stated that “only 15 spots are available for each field (AI, VR, and SI)”.

It added that “applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis”.

The programme will run from November 2024 to January 2025, while the application deadline is November 19, 2024.
