Three vehicles were seized, and 90 traffic violations were recorded on Friday and Saturday morning, police said amid a campaign for safe driving.

One car was seized after the 35-year-old driver was over five times the permissible legal alcohol limit. Two motorbikes were also seized.

Police said the traffic violations mostly concerned drunk driving, use of a mobile phone while driving and lacking proper paperwork to drive.

The aim of the campaign is to stop serious accidents and clampdown on traffic violations.
