Following the recent inauguration of PASCAL Private Kindergarten & Primary School Larnaka, PASCAL International Education proudly celebrated the official opening of PASCAL Private Kindergarten & Primary School Lefkosia (Nicosia) on November 20, 2024.

While the new facilities have been fully operational since September 2024, the event marked their formal inauguration, under the auspices of Nicosia District Local Government Organisation Chairman Constantinos Yiorkatzis. Key figures from the education sector, government officials, ambassadors, distinguished guests, academic staff and parents attended the ceremony – a testament to PASCAL International Education’s commitment to fostering a modern learning environment, where “We Grow Together.”

In his address, Yiorkatzis praised PASCAL schools for their significant contributions to education in Cyprus, particularly in Nicosia. “For more than 50 years, PASCAL International Education upholds the values of growth, inclusivity, and forward-thinking. The opening of these state-of-the-art facilities in Nicosia signifies PASCAL’s commitment to shaping young minds and preparing them for active roles in a global society,” he noted.

Dr Antigoni Stylianou Parpounas, Headteacher of PASCAL Private Kindergarten & Primary School Lefkosia, shared her own appreciation for the new facilities, and the school’s vision for the future. “This school is more than a place of learning—it’s where children from various cultures come together, and grow side by side,” she said. “Here, they will build friendships and develop values of respect, understanding and tolerance. These seeds of connection will flourish into a brighter, more harmonious future.”

Since September 2024, the new PASCAL Private Kindergarten & Primary School in Nicosia has been home to a vibrant community of 350 three- to 12-year-old pupils, representing over 40 nationalities. The new learning facilities include interactive classrooms, advanced computer labs, specialised STEAM labs, multi-purpose rooms, outdoor spaces, and new sports facilities, tailored for children aged 3-12.

At the heart of PASCAL’s Nicosia campus expansion lies the remarkable new PASCAL Space Centre Lefkosia, a testament to our commitment to fostering curiosity, exploration and a deep understanding of STEAM and AI education. Aligned with the mission of our parent group, Globeducate, to shape a better world, this pioneering addition to our curriculum is designed to provide unparalleled learning experiences and unrivalled opportunities for innovation.

As with all PASCAL campuses, the Nicosia campus is deeply committed to sustainability. Both PASCAL Private Kindergarten & Primary School and PASCAL Private Secondary School located in the capital are powered by advanced photovoltaic systems, which currently meet up to 70 per cent of their energy needs. In addition, the Nicosia-based schools hold a Green Flag Eco-Schools honour, and are accredited as Blue Schools, further demonstrating their dedication to environmental responsibility.

With the successful inauguration of its expanded Nicosia premises, PASCAL International Education is poised to continue its legacy of educational excellence and community engagement, welcoming future generations to its campuses in Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol.
