A fire that broke out in a private vehicle on Geroskipou beach is being investigated by Paphos authorities on Friday.

According to a post on X by fire service spokesman Andreas Kettis, firefighters responded with two engines at around 6.40pm on Thursday to put out the blaze.

“The fire was extinguished before it spread thanks to the immediate intervention of the fire department,” Kettis said, adding that the vehicle had been extensively damaged.

The fire service and the police are investigating the fire’s causes.
