Friday will be clear with periodic localised cloud cover bringing a chance of isolated showers on the north coasts and later in the mountains. Temperatures will rise to 18C in the interior, 20C on the coasts, and 10C degrees in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly north-westerly to north-easterly and locally in the afternoon southerly to south-easterly, and moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
Overnight will remain mostly clear with some clouds, mainly on the coast. Temperatures will drop to 5C in the interior, 7C on the east coast, 10C on the remaining coasts, and 3C in the higher mountains, where frost is expected. Winds will turn downwind and weak, 3 Beaufort, and the sea will remain calm to slightly rough.
The weekend is forecast to be mild and sunny in most parts of the island with some periodic clouds.
On Monday increased afternoon clouds and showers on the west and north coasts are expected.
Temperatures are set to remain steady and close to seasonal norms.
