Monday will start off mostly clear, later turning cloudy with afternoon rains expected, as the Bora storm system which affected Greece starts to move in, although in a weakened state. Mountain rains are expected and temperatures will rise to 20C in the interior and the coast, 11C in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly north-to south-easterly and weak, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.

Overnight will continue partly cloudy with isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly on the west coast. Temperatures will drop to 8C inland, 12C on the coast, and 6C in the higher mountains, where frost may form. Winds will remain north-to south-easterly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.

Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be overcast with localised showers, isolated thunderstorms, and hail expected.

From Wednesday night onwards the storm’s effects will weaken and be limited to the coasts, while is expected to bring Thursday some further isolated showers.

Temperatures are forecast to drop on Tuesday and fluctuate slightly below the seasonal norm through Thursday.
