The Junior and Senior School is proud to commemorate eight decades of transformative education, marking a significant milestone in its rich history. Since its founding in 1944 at the house of Mrs Stone, with no books, desks or blackboards, the School has grown from modest beginnings to become a world-class educational institution, recognised as a beacon of academic innovation and student empowerment, and today responsible for 1,414 pupils.
To honour this remarkable journey, the School will host a grand Anniversary Concert on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 7pm, at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. This special event will showcase the extraordinary talents of 250 junior and senior students, celebrating the School’s enduring legacy of educational achievement. The concert represents more than just a performance, it is a tribute to the institution’s remarkable evolution through changing social, technological and educational landscapes.
Over the decades, the School has consistently pioneered educational approaches that enable all students to realise their full potential, and to enjoy a fulfilled life as confident, compassionate and healthy members of the global community, who continue to learn, and to contribute to a better world for all.
During the event, a unique historical display will also feature, including rare photographs and archival documents dating back to the 1950s, offering attendees a glimpse into the School’s storied past.
