A fire broke out on a tugboat at 12.30pm on Thursday, while docked at Limassol port.

The owner, who was inside the vessel at the time, inhaled smoke and was treated on the spot by the ambulance crew.

Fire Department spokesman Andreas Kettis said on X that the fire started in the 22-foot tugboat galley and two fire engines were sent to put it out.
