Thursday will see largely clear skies and mild weather in most areas of the island, with a chance of showers in the mountains and in the southeast. Temperatures will rise to 18C degrees inland, 20C on the coast, and 11C in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly south-to-north-westerly, weak to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea in will be calm to slightly rough.

Overnight will continue clear with some increased cloud cover on the coasts. Light fog may form in the early hours in the interior and the east. Temperatures will drop to 8C in the interior, 11C on the coast, and 4C in the higher mountains, where frost may form. Winds be downslope and weak, 3 Beaufort, and the sea will calm.

On Friday and into the weekend the mainly clear weather spell is expected to continue. Temperatures will not change significantly remaining above the seasonal norm.
