Behind the wheel of the new HTFX Ford Mustang V8, Vladimiros Tziortzis will continue his effort to make his dream come true by becoming champion in the NASCAR Euro Series.
The Cypriot missed out on the title only by four points in 2023. He will now have the number #64 on the doors and will face the elite drivers of the NASCAR Euro Series, taking part for the third consecutive year in EURONASCAR PRO.
“I’m really excited that for another year I will represent our island in EURONASCAR. I am more determined than ever and, with the team’s commitment, I’m sure we have one target: the title. I am ready to give my best to achieve the results we deserve,” noted Vladimiros.
Then after thanking his Platinum sponsor, the company HTFX, as well as its supporters, Alco Filters, Monroe, Psaltis Auto Parts, Televantos Used Trucks, Daytona Raceway and the Sana Hiltonia, he also thanked his family, as without their support it would not have been possible to come this far.
“Representing my island, Cyprus, from 2020 in a championship certified by the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile), makes me even stronger and I am ready to bring the European trophy to my hometown Nicosia,” said the 27-year-old driver.
“Sure it’s the year of Vladimiros.”
Veteran driver (ex-Le Mans and NASCAR Euro Series) and team owner Lucas Lasserre also conveyed his high ambitions for the new year, and for the Cypriot: “I am very happy to announce that Vladimiros Tziortzis will compete with us in the EURONASCAR 2025 and in the PRO category. Having a top driver like Vladi in our team, is a huge boost to our work. I have always known his ability to bring a car in front to the first places, and our earlier battles on the track were intense and always fair” he noted.
“It’s a real advantage to have someone like him in your team, as he is a real talent, but also an excellent character. It is also important to us that we share the same values in the overall project.”
The first race of Nascar Euro Series 2025 will take place at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Spain on the weekend of 12-13 April, while the calendar also includes races in Italy, UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany and Belgium.
