Cyprus’ spate of chilly weather is set to continue on Saturday, with temperatures set to rise to a maximum of 14 degrees Celsius inland, 16 degrees Celsius on the coast, and just two degrees Celsius in the mountains.
The skies will be clear in the morning, though clouds will gather as the day goes on.
Overnight, the clouds will remain, with temperatures set to drop to just four degrees Celsius inland, six degrees Celsius on the coasts, and a frigid minus three degrees Celsius in the mountains.
On Sunday, isolated rain and the odd storm is expected in parts of the country, with snow expected to fall in the mountains.
More rain, storms, and snow is expected on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures set to remain cold.
At dawn on Saturday, the depth of the snow in Troodos square was 15 centimetres.
