The 75-year-old man who died in a car accident on Tuesday morning suffered a heart attack, police said on Wednesday evening.
An autopsy was performed on Wednesday, showing that “his death resulted from acute myocardial infarction” or pathological.
The man, named as Rodotheos Skordis, was driving down a residential street on Tuesday morning when he lost control of his vehicle which flipped onto its roof after colliding with a parked car.
Skordis was pulled from his car by the fire brigade and taken by ambulance to the Larnaca general hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
