Ronald McDonald House Charities Cyprus (RMHC® Cyprus) proudly announces that Evita Constantinou’s “Teddies from Home for The Home” initiative has won a Guinness World Record.

Last summer, the Guinness World Record attempt for the longest line of soft toys was held in Limassol’s ‘Aetos’ stadium, on June 2, 2024, with the dual purpose of promoting reuse and recycling, while raising funds for RMHC® Cyprus. The initiative aimed to collect unused soft toys from across Cyprus and Greece, sell them at low prices, and donate the net proceeds to the charity.

Warmly embraced by RMHC® Cyprus, the event saw the largest chain of soft toys created, reaching the impressive number of 17,815 teddies, while spanning 3,521 km. This achievement was officially recorded by Guinness World Records, attesting to the strength of the community, as well as the importance of love and solidarity.
