A domestic aide was taken to hospital on Monday after jumping from a window to escape a fire in an apartment in Zakaki, Limassol.

The fire broke out at around 9.20am in a first-floor apartment.

Two fire trucks were sent to extinguish the fire.

Investigations are continuing.
