Lane closures are expected on a section of the Nicosia-Limassol highway on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday due to maintenance works, the department of public works announced on Friday.

The works will be carried out from 9pm to 6am the next morning (except Tuesday, March 25) and during these times lanes will be closed in in one direction, for a length of approximately 3km. Traffic will be diverted to the opposite lane, which will operate in a two-way direction.

On Monday, March 24, works will be carried out on the section of the motorway from the Moni exit to the Pentakomo exit, towards Nicosia. During the works, the Moni exit will be closed.

On Wednesday, March 26, works will be carried out on the section from the Parekklisia exit to the Ayios Tychonas exit, towards Limassol. During the works, the Agios Tychonas exit will be closed.

On Thursday, March 27, works will be carried out on the section from the Ayios Tychonas exit to the Mouttagiaka exit, towards Limassol, with the the Mouttagiaka exit closed.
