Police on Wednesday are searching for two unknown individuals who stole €1,600 in cash from a kiosk in Larnaca overnight.
According to the police spokesperson Spyros Chrysostomou, the robbery was committed in Livadia, shortly before 10pm. The two perpetrators had their faces covered with a scarf.
Only one employee had been working on the premises, Chrysostomou said.
The robbers removed the the cash register tray and escaped with the money by car.
The case is under ongoing investigation.
