A fire broke out near Goudi in the Paphos district on Friday, burning a large area of cane.

Fire department spokesman Andreas Kettis said on X that two fire trucks from Polis Chrysochous and Stroumbi were sent to put the fire out.

A forestry department fire truck and an earth mover from Paphos are also operating at the site, Kettis added.
