The forthcoming weekend is set to see roadworks across various parts of the island.

Sweeping works will cause the Limassol bypass to be closed in both directions between 6am and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday, with 200m of the road to be closed at any given time.

A 100m stretch of Nicosia’s Pefkou Street will be closed between 2am and 6am due to resurfacing works, with traffic to and from the Tseri roundabout set to be diverted up Themistokleous Street.

Later on Sunday, resurfacing works will be carried out on the nearby Tseri Avenue between 4am and 4pm, with a 200m stretch of the road closed and traffic to be diverted via other routes.
