Spreading Hope and Kindness

This Easter, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation supported communities across Cyprus through a series of meaningful initiatives.

On April 12, the Foundation partnered with the Funraising Charity Foundation to support 200 destitute families in Limassol, including 500 children. Each family received food vouchers to ensure a traditional Easter meal, while Exinity employees generously donated baby essentials for the Easter parcels – a heartfelt collaboration that brought much-needed relief to many homes.

From April 14 to 17, the Foundation extended its outreach to the Cradle of Hope Association, assisting 27 underprivileged families with more than 50 children across the island. Families received food vouchers, and every child was gifted Easter treats, making the season a little brighter for those facing daily hardship.

An Easter Tale

On April 16, the Foundation supported a vibrant celebration for students from the Laniteio and Kato Polemidia Lyceums’ special units. The Easter Word Hunt, hosted by Little Odysseus at the Limassol Municipal University Library, encouraged students to explore the themes of kindness and compassion through storytelling, art, and interactive games.

From a storytelling collage to a literature buzzer quiz, the day was filled with joy, learning, and laughter. The Foundation covered all costs, including materials, snacks, Easter gifts, and transportation, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.

“Easter is more than a celebration – it is a time to reflect on our humanity, compassion and the value of sharing,” said Andrey Dashin, founder of the Foundation. “We remain committed to supporting vulnerable members of our community, and we are thankful to everyone who joined us in spreading relief and joy this season.”

These initiatives by the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation served as a reminder to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of others during this season of renewal and hope.
