Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos is traveling to the Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday, for a working visit on Monday and Tuesday.

During his visit, he will hold talks focusing on further strengthening bilateral relations and promoting cooperation in areas such as the economy, trade, energy, tourism, education, and cultural exchanges.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his visit, Kombos will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, as well as other members of the country’s state and government leadership.

The press release said that talks will focus on further strengthening bilateral relations and promoting cooperation in areas such as the economy, trade, energy, tourism, education, and cultural exchanges.

During the meetings, the promotion of trade and investment cooperation, strengthening regional stability and security, as well as further deepening relations between the European Union (EU) and Bahrain, in view of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026, will also be discussed, the press release concluded.
