Temperatures inland are set to reach a high of 38 degrees Celsius on Saturday, as the latest run of hot weather reaches a crescendo.

On the south and east coasts, temperatures are expected to rise to 33 degrees Celsius, while temperatures are only expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius on the west and north coasts, and 27 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

The skies will be mostly clear across most of the island in the morning, through clouds are expected to gather in the afternoon, particularly in the mountains.

Meanwhile, there will be increased concentrations of dust in the air until Sunday.

Overnight, temperatures will drop to 18 degrees Celsius inland, 19 degrees Celsius on the coasts, and 17 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Clear weather is expected on Sunday and Monday, with high clouds possible in some parts, with stronger winds expected on Monday.

More clouds are expected on Tuesday, with rain and storms possible in the mountains and inland and temperatures expected to drop significantly.
